The review of PCE notes
If you are reading this it is because you are not very happy with the correction of your PCE exams. It is possible that they have not added up the points of the questions correctly or they may not have correctly evaluated the answers to the questions posed. Be that as it may, we are going to explain how to proceed with your claim.
Can I claim my PCE note?
Yes. In article 21 of the UNEDasiss Regulation The possibility of requesting a claim regarding the qualification of each of the tests presented is enabled. In this way, there is an opportunity to correct any errors that the correctors and the computer system could generate.
Prior information for your PCE claim
- The review is only valid if it really There is evidence that there has been an error in scoring. To do this, we recommend that you see the PCE exam corrections that we have done at the academy.
- Don't ask for a review “just in case I pass.” Some students apply for it as a way to have a chance to pass. We are sorry to tell you that the grade will not be raised if you really do not deserve it.
- The final grade, after review, may be the same, lower or higher. For this reason, you have to be sure that there really has been an error, as we can get an even lower grade.
- It is only possible to request the review if the request is “Granted”
- The publication of the results of the claims will be carried out as they are processed with a maximum period of 10 days from the request.
- If you don't remember what you answered on the exam, you can see them scanned on your UNED portal.
How to request the PCE UNEDasiss review
It can be done during the 3 business days after the publication of the grades. After that time it cannot be done. The request will be made from the UNEDasiss portal itself. It is, therefore, an online procedure. In order to present the claim, you must attach the sworn statement signed by the student. Without this document the application does not allow you to send the application. Likewise, it will be necessary to explain, in writing, the reasoning as to why said claim is being requested.
You can see how the request is made in the Official video.
How the PCE UNEDasiss review procedure is done
1. Firstly, a verification of the partial grades will be carried out in order to confirm that all the questions have been graded and have been graded with correct application of the general evaluation and specific correction criteria, as well as to verify that they have not been graded. There are errors in calculating the final grade.
2. If errors are detected, they will be rectified and the new final grade will be awarded. After this verification, the specialist teacher will make a second correction of all the exam questions, clearly noting the partial and total grades. As we have mentioned, the result may mean a final grade lower, higher or equal to the grade obtained in the first correction.
Once the review is completed:
- In the event that there is a difference of less than two points between the two grades, the grade will be the arithmetic mean of the grades obtained in the two corrections.
- In the event that there is a difference of two or more points Between the two grades, a third correction will be made ex officio and the final grade will be the arithmetic average of the three grades. In the third correction process, it will also be verified that all questions have been evaluated and that there are no material errors in the process of calculating the final grade.
So…should I claim my PCE qualification?
Before deciding whether to file a review, consider:
✅ You could earn points if you think the correction was unfair or that your exam was better than the grade reflects.
⚠️ Your grade may also go down., it is not a risk-free process.
📌 You should only appeal if you are convinced that there was an error or your exam deserves a different assessment.
📄 Make sure you have a reasoned justification: review your answers, compare them with the syllabus, and consider whether improvement is actually feasible.
💡 Tip: If you're very close to where you need to get into college or improve your admissions, it may be worth it.

I have taken the extraordinary exam and I consider that the exam exceeds the time I require to complete it. How can I complain?
You will have to contact UNEDasiss for this. Here is the email address: unedasiss@adm.uned.es
Hi !
What can I do if they directly deny my review (and they have done it twice), I think it is a right to do the review, the risk is mine if they lower my grade or not, but I do not understand that they can deny you the review of an exam of the PCE Madrid 2024
How can I request a second review of the exam?
Hello Izaskun. Didn't your first review go well?
Hello, I have a problem with proofreading, as most of my works were not proofread, and I hope this problem will be fixed as soon as possible.
Yes, it is best that you contact them as soon as possible so that they can fix your situation. All the best
Could it happen that the publication of the results of the claims is made after the closing date for university pre-registration? What should be done in this case if a review affects the university entrance grade?
Hello Felipe. The maximum period for receiving a response to the claim is 10 days. Just as you run the risk of having your grade raised or not, you may not be able to pre-register in time. In this case, it is advisable to evaluate the options of whether you would really obtain the cut-off mark they ask for or if it is difficult for you to do so, in order to be able to look at other universities and pre-register within the indicated dates. It's your decision 🙂
All the best
