This article provides updated dates for pre-registration at Spanish universities in 2026. As you will see, each Spanish region has its own application process. It is important to know how to complete this process (in person or online), as well as the required documentation.
Dates of university registration in different Spanish regions for students with non-Spanish pre-university studies
If you want to apply for a place at a university in Spain, it is essential that you complete the pre-registration process on the dates stipulated by each educational institution. Public universities typically end this pre-registration period in early July, but some may have different calendars. It is vital that you verify these deadlines directly with the university where you plan to begin your studies.
According to the provisions of BOE 11952 no. 142 of 2025, students of international systems have until July 8 to submit their pre-registration application, and may provide the required documentation until July 31.
