Tricks and tips

  • First of all, it is important to read the general instructions of the exam that they give us.
  • You have to read the exam calmly. Think before you answer.
  • Make a mental structure of the time you have for each question based on your knowledge and what they ask of us.
  • There are no clocks in the exam room, so time control is mental.
  • Read and review at the end of everything, if you can just when you are going to hand it in. You don't know how many things you could find that you could improve.
  • Write down all the data that is necessary for the statement.
  • Express the formulas and operations in the answers you can.
  • Prepare thoroughly for the practical part of the syllabus.
  • Start with the multiple-choice test and answer only the questions you know on the first pass. After the second pass, answer the questions you're unsure of between two. Since there are still questions left, only answer the ones you're moderately to highly confident about. Never answer randomly.
  • In the development part, relax. As we have mentioned, it is practical. It is very important that you develop the exercise, write the formulas necessary to solve the problem. Do not just write the result, as the examiner may understand that you have copied. Do not round, if the result has decimals, always leave a minimum of two.
  • Have a good foundation in Social Mathematics. As we have mentioned, you are going to have to learn formulas, know how to develop them and operate in general.

  1. Hi!
I have a question regarding question 4 of the test type of the PCE Economics exam for June 2021. The question asks if a company manufactures a single product, what type of costs does it have: both direct and indirect, only direct or only indirect. I get different answers on different websites. On the one hand, it could be only direct costs because by only producing one product, all costs could be directly associated with that product, but in some places it says that both exist.
    Thank you very much.

    • Hello Gonzalo. We have the option of a) Direct and indirect. Regardless of whether a company manufactures a single product or multiple products, there will always be a mix of direct and indirect costs in its cost structure. All the best.

  2. Hi !
I want to study ADE, but the country I come from does not study Economics as a high school subject. Couldn't I take another subject like Chemistry or Biology even if it doesn't fall into the Social Sciences modality? Or to apply for a certain career, is it mandatory to stick to the corresponding modality?

    Reply
    • It depends on the university (if the configuration allows it) and the weighting. In many universities, doing Biology to do ADE is of no use, that is, you do not get points.

If I want to study audiovisual communication, is it still necessary to apply this subject? What would be the specifically recommended social science subjects for my degree? Thank you so much!

    • Hello Daniela. It would be one of the things you could do, but it is not mandatory. You must choose the ones that weight you 0,2.
