To be able to study at a university in Spain, you need 7 steps if you have a Mexican passport:

Legal requirements for students from Mexico
We are going to indicate the general requirements that you must meet if you are a student. You should know that these are broad requirements, so, once you have made your decision to study in Spain, consult the Spanish consulate that will provide you with all the official information in force for that specific moment.
- Valid passport.
- Acceptance letter from the entity or university.
- Reservation of the passage to Spain.
- Take out travel insurance.
- Apply for a study visa.
- Be free of criminal records.
- Medical certificate.
- Proof that you have the means of subsistence for the requested period and to guarantee your return (consult with the Spanish consulate to check the official financial requirements in the year of the application).
- Indicate residence during the period indicated on the visa.
